The mission of Accessible Space, Inc. (ASI) is to provide accessible, affordable, assisted/supportive and independent living opportunities for persons with physical disabilities and brain injuries, as well as seniors. This mission is accomplished through the development and cost-effective management of accessible, affordable housing, as well as the provision of assisted/ supportive living and rehabilitation services. ASI is a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota and incorporated in 1978. ASI provides accessible, affordable housing, property management and supportive living services to 2,396 very low-income individuals with disabilities. Services are provided in 113 residential homes and apartment settings in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area and Greater Minnesota, and 29 other states. Additionally, adults with traumatic brain injuries are served in residential/day treatment rehabilitation programs in Las Vegas, Nevada.
