How long have you been in business?
Herold Precision Metals, LLC ( HPM ) was established in 1997. Our facility is 110,000 square feet and located in White Bear Township, on the northeast corner of 35E and Highway 96.
What is your primary product or service?
Design Engineering, Prototype, production fabrication, and mechanical/electrical assembly of Precision Sheet Metal components. We are a manufacturer of enclosures, card cages, and bracketry for the computer industry, audio-visual, security id, medical, automotive, point of sales marketing, telecom, and defense markets.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been working in precision sheet metal fabrication since I was 14 years old. My education was focused on Operations Management and Entrepeneurship.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our service, which is based on ( 1 ) our design engineering interface we provide our customer base to ensure design for best possible manufacturing cost as up front as possible, and ( 2 ) the speed by which we do it.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have on facility in White Bear Township, MN. 110,000 square feet.
