LeClair Group was established in St Paul in 1932. We are a family owned independent Health & Life insurance agency dedicated to serving our community.
What is your primary product or service?
Employee benefits, Individual and Agent services, focusing on Health, Life, Long Term Care, Asset based Long Term Care, Medicare, Dental, Disability (long & short term). We have a great reputation for face to face service and consultation for all our individual, group and agent clients. Ensuring our clients get the coverage they need and fully understand is essential to us.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am the 4th CEO of LeClair Group since 1932. At LeClair Group, we are determined to deliver a long term and consistent approach to building relationships and maintaining our reputation for excellent service.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are an independent agency. This means we have access to all carriers for our customers, which allows us to focus on our clients' needs and ensure they get the best solution in each case. We have no shareholders or outside owners; we stand fully responsible for our reputation and quality of service.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our HQ is in Woodbury, Minnesota, we are licensed in all 50 states of the USA and we support a very wide base of independent agents to deliver health insurance options across Minnesota and the USA.

What are your hours of operation?
7am - 5pm Monday through Friday. During open enrollment season for Medicare and Major Medical we are open 7 days a week with extended hours to deliver face to face enrollment for our clients.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That each and every one of our clients know they got the service and insurance they needed and they left feeling they understood more about health and life insurance. That LeClair Group cares.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
"If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to far go together". I believe the origin of this saying relates to the Masai Tribesman and surviving a journey across the African Savannah. The motto of LeClair Group is "Better Together".
