- Operates the Senior LinkAge Line and State Health Insurance Program to connect older adults, their caregivers and Medicare beneficiaries of any age to service and benefit information; assists persons of any age with prescription drug access.
- Partners with other community organizations to plan, develop and deliver a variety of home and community-based services for older people so that they can stay in their own homes and communities. Services include chore help, legal assistance, food programs such as meals on wheels and congregate dining, transportation programs and special access projects.
- Provides demographic and service need analysis that inform policy makers, the public and media.
- Leverages resources and grant or contract funds to local providers
- Consults on a wide range of topics from demographic changes and needs of older people to programs and services for variety of organizations, individuals and businesses
