How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I first began my career as an artist, jouralist and then began helping families in crisis. While I was raising my children, I enjoyed working within the church and a local abuse prevention outreach with Family Violence Network. I finished my Bachelo Degree in Counseling Psychology and Community Violence Prevention; and went on for my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of St. Thomas. Thereafter, I attended a Post-Masters Graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and gained licensure in the State of Minnesota. I have been involved in serving the needs within the community in a variety of ways including services to military members and their families, trauma victims, homeless adults, spirutual guidance, mental health education, communication, parenting and recovery from abuse.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I offer alternative types of therapy such as mental health healing, communication coaching, art therapy, pet assisted therapy, spirituality, biofeedback, and work through an integrated approach towards healing and growth. We also offer alternative healing approaches including trauma therapy, EFT, EMDR, Art/Play therapy, pet-assisted, DBT, CBT, and many more services to meet a client's needs. Healing circles within a supportive environment often give client's and their families hope for a healthy family recovery process.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently I am in Forest Lake and Shoreview.

20 minutes North of St Paul up Hwy 35 E exit Forest Lake, head East 1 mile and I am just off the turn about. HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE BUILDING.

I accept most insurances, cash, check and credit cards. I offer a sliding fee as well.

What are your hours of operation?
Monday, Tuesday AND Thursday from 11 to 8 and Fridays from 11 to 6.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
When my client tells me they "feel like they are coming to a friend's house to chat" I know they are comfortable and feel cared for. Relatiosnhip, trust, authenticity and safety is very important to me.
